Vyatta is now a Brocade company

This week Vyatta; The award-winning open source network operating system providing advanced IPv4 and IPv6 routing made the move under Brocade.

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (BRCD (NASDAQ)) is an American technology company specializing in data and storage networking products.

What does this mean to those of us who use and are customers of Vyatta. In a statement via the press releaseBrocade plans to utilize Vyatta technology and expertise with the goal of offering its customers an end-to-end architecture built on a highly virtualized, dynamic network infrastructure.
