After a recent update of my Windows 10 installation, I was left with the expected Windows.old folder containing 16 GB of old data.
It’s time to clean up. Here are the steps I followed to make this happen.
Steps:
- Click in Windows’ search field, type Cleanup, then click Disk Cleanup.
- Click the “Clean up system files” button.
- Scroll down the list until you see “Previous Windows installation(s).”
- Check the box next to the entry. Click OK to start the cleanup.
