You may notice an error when attempting to use docker on a windows computer that reads: “You are not allowed to use Docker. You must be in the “docker-users” group error.”
To resolve this: Add your user to docker-users named group created under Computer Management/user and groups/groups.
- Click on docker-users and add your username to the group
- Apply the changes and then you need to log out or restart the computer
